Yvonne Favors

Yvonne Favors passed away peacefully in her home on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at the age of 67. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Mozelle and Mack Favors on September 4 , 1955.

Yvonne was raised in Lincoln Heights, OH and attended Lincoln Heights School District. Due to her abundance of intelligence she was able to graduate from Princeton High School one year early at the age of 17 in 1972. After graduating she attended the University of Cincinnati to pursue a degree in education. In 1975 Yvonne became employed by Fisher Body of Hamilton Ohio, which was later bought out by General Motors Corporation. She was also a member of the UAW Local 674. Yvonne dedicated 37 hardworking years to General Motors retiring in 2013.

Yvonne was a very warm hearted individual with a great sense of humor who had a passion for giving to others when in need. Being Extremely trustworthy, dependable, very organized, and business oriented were a few of her strongest attributes. She enjoyed traveling with family especially her daughter and granddaughter, going to the casino, talking on the phone daily with family and friends, and shopping.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her two brothers Paul and James Favors.

Yvonne leaves to cherish one daughter Ciara Jones, one granddaughter Aysiara Yvonne Jones-Rashid, one goddaughter De’Ayrah Evonne Rinfrow; her siblings, Kenneth Favors (Yvette), Barbara Gray, Patricia Thomas (William), Christine Greathouse, Adele Favors–Love, Juanita Blackwell, Sharon Fountaine (Mack) and Dwight Favors (Diane) and a host of additional brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and other relatives whom will miss her dearly and will forever cherish the time spent and the love shared will forever remain in their hearts.
