Yahpatha Yisrael was born to Joan Davis and the late Walter Tankins Sr. Yahpatha was born August 4, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. He is proceeded in death by his father, sister Gail Davis, and brother-in-law Melvin Farmer.
Yahpatha was educated through the St. Louis Public School system. He eventually received his GED and went on to trade school where he acquired his certificate as an electrician.
He acquired a love for sports and music at an early age. Yahpatha played youth football for Herbert Hoover Boys Club and later played Semi-Pro Football with Metro Stars East. His favorite Pro Football team was the Green Bay Packers. He loved music and enjoyed being the life of the party. He joined the DJ Club Master Blaster with his cousin/brother Parnell “Ponnie” Moore where he was known as the “Governor”. He later changed his DJ name to the “Party Boss”.
In 2000, he moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and met the love of his life, Tonia Williams. Five years later, Yapatha and Tonia united in Holy Matrimony on August 21, 2005. They blissfully enjoyed 20 years of Love, Life, Friendship, and all that life afforded them.
He leaves to uphold his legacy and his presence on earth realm: his wife Tonia YisraEL; six children Jeffery Davis, Jr., Juanika Edwards, Aaliyah Davis, Markeisha Ellis, Dirale Ellis, and Edgar Williams, III. Yahpatha also leaves his mother Joan Quinn and mother-in-law Mary Ellis; Siblings Sharon Farmer, Michael Davis (LaVaunce), Gwendolyn Davis-Boyce (Clarence), Aaron Quinn (Raelonda), IYob Maurice-YisraEL (Veronica); three sister-in-laws, two brother-in-laws; eight beautiful grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; dear family, and great friends; Extended Hebrew family; Levi YisraEL, Shechem YisraEL, and All of the Hebrew Israelite Nation. His courageous spirit will forever more live through us all. May he rest with the creator in perfect peace!
