Theresa Louise Box

Theresa Louise Box was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, January 21, 1958 to the union of Edward Richard Walker and Edna Mae Moore-Walker. She was the fourth of 8 children. She passed away peacefully on May 2, 2021 after courageously battling cancer.

Theresa graduated from Woodward High School class of 1976. She spent many years working in management. She also worked in manufacturing and if you were in trouble; she was the union rep you wanted in your corner. Theresa was joined in holy matrimony to Karl Box from this union came two beautiful daughters, Malikh and Karla Box.

Theresa liked to read, do puzzles and crochet, where she made many gifts for friends and family. Theresa touched many lives with her warm demeanor and approachable attitude. She was outgoing and had a genuine care for others. Theresa had a bright, energetic and welcoming personality where she was known for her ability to connect with anyone and was able to “get the scoop”.

Family was the most important part of her life and she cherished spending time and taking care of her grandchildren, Malik Box, Mason and Makayla Jackson, and Micah Cross.

Theresa is preceded in death by her mother, Edna Mae Walker and father, Edward Walker.

She leaves to cherish her memory; her two daughters; grandchildren; siblings, Edward Walker, Richard Walker, Lisa Walker, Maureen (Mark) Patterson, Brenda Zellars, Phyllis (Walter) Burton, Carla (Ricky) Grant; and a host of other relatives, family, and friends.
