Tammi Hibbett age 58, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on April 11, 2026.
She was born on March 28, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Harry Hibbett and Ruth Hibbett. At the age of three, she moved to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she was raised and remained a lifelong resident.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Stacey Hibbett and her sister, Lynitta Hibbett.
Tammi was a proud graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1986. During her high school years, she also attended Scarlet Oaks Vocational School, where she studied cosmetology. She dedicated many years of her career to caring for others, working in various healthcare roles at nursing homes and Hospital settings. She later transitioned into banking, where she worked at Fifth Third Bank from 1998 until 2021.
She had a vibrant spirit and a love for life. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the casino, and listening to music, especially her favorite artist, Gerald Levert. Above all, she cherished her family and the time she spent with them.
She leaves to cherish her memory her two loving daughters, Krystal Hibbett and Khiara Hibbett; her beloved grandchildren, Kyree Matthews and Zaria Whitehead; her brother, Larry Hibbett (Bunny); her nephew Miles Hibbett; her nieces, Ashley Hibbett and Shawnvonta Hibbett; her great nephew Jason Page and her great-nieces, Jolie Page, Shy’Auna Hibbett-Turner, Anyia Hibbett-Turner, Aarian Hibbett-Turner, and Zy’Airah Hibbett-Turner. She shared a special bond with her cousin, Debra Thomas, who was like a sister to her. She is also survived by her cousins Brandon Thomas (Brandy), Latese Thomas, Jamiah Thomas, Brandon (Dink) Thomas, Trevon Stinson, Kyren Thomas and Zhmarriantae Thomas. She also leaves behind her lifelong best friend aka “sis”, Margaret Barnes, along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Tammi will be remembered for her strength, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
