Aunt Shirley, I miss you already. I'll never forget all the times in my childhood that you believed in me when others doubted. You always gave great advice. You were the life of the party. Family events will never be the same without you in your favorite chair at the house. But I know we will all continue to stay together, and your spirit will still be there with us. I know that is what you would want. We all love you very much. See you later!!

I'll miss Moms something fierce. She was the best 2nd mom I never knew I would need until she showed up and welcomed me to Aldon Ln. My heart is hurting and my tears continue to flow. I'll never forget the love and care she gave me.
Until I we meet again, know that her presence will be missed in my world.

Shirley Porter! You will be missed soooo much. Shirley and I came to Exam together in 2004. She was a character...to say the least. I love how Shirley kept bettering herself. She would be graduating from Mentoring on June 11. When Shirley came back to us on swing shift for a few months we had good times. Shirley was an inspiration to me, she was so strong in the face of fighting her illness and never , ever did she ever complain! She did it her way, and I love that, no smile in your face folks , you know. She was a stronger woman than I! Love her so much! Miss her so much!

Mom, I will miss you more than anyone. You shared so much of yourself with me and Dion. We had some bad days but many more good days. I will miss you not just because you were my mother, but also because you were my friend.
Love you.

To the family:
Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my fathers house are many mansions: If it were not so . I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14 1-3.
It was such a pleasure to know Shirley. I worked with her in Appeals. She always wore a beautiful smile no matter what was going on with her or around her. She was a vibrant soul and I will miss her but will always carry her in my heart. With deepest sympathy.
