Shawnell Evans

Shawnell Evans, age 34, passed away on September 6, 2021. Shawnell was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Albert Upshaw and Tonia Johnson on May 11, 1987.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Nellie Mosley and Annie Ruth Johnson; grandfather, Peyton Evans Jr.; aunt, Sonia Evans; and uncle, Tyrone Upshaw.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Shawnta Evans; father, Albert Upshaw; mother, Tonia Johnson; grandmother, Theresa Cal; grandfather, Albert Upshaw Sr.; two brothers, Corey Evans, and Justin Evans; niece, Kieara Spain; aunts, Tamika Cal, Sandra Upshaw, and Wanda Mcduffy; uncles, Albert (Brandy) Upshaw Jr., and Anthony Upshaw; close cousins, Eric Gilchrist, Kedejah Cal, Erikole Cal, Nicole Richerson, Kaaisha Richerson, Siara Richerson, and Isaiah Richerson; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Gathering of Family & Friends will take place on Monday, September 20, 2021 beginning at 10:30 AM from 11:00 AM at Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road, Forest Park, Ohio 45240. Memorial service will begin at 11:00 AM.
