Shawn Dixon, age 52, passed away on January 2, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 28, 1970 to Benny Dixon and Sallie Dixon. He was married to Dawna Beck Dixon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Dixon; and brother, Marvin.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dawna Dixon; a blended family of five daughters, Kenya Bowie, Shawn’Ya Maurquis Dixon, Dakotah Perry, Meredith Jinks, and Alexus Jinks; three grandchildren, Cylan Perry, Ny’Auri Herring, and Madisyn McCurdy; mother, Sallie Dixon; stepfather, Henry Nelson; brother, Orlando Moore and a host of other family, friends, and co-workers.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place on January 28, 2023, beginning at 1:30 PM at Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road Forest Park, Ohio 45240. A Memorial service will follow beginning at 2:00 PM.
