I have many fond memories of Aunt Sharon. Her smile, her laughter, her generous heart. Her love for clothing, jewelry and shopping. When we were children we loved visiting her house during the holidays. Aunt Sharon would decorate the house for Christmas and have wrapped presents under the tree right after Thanksgiving. My siblings and I looked forward to opening our beautifully wrapped gift boxes, which were usually the latest Avon products. We couldn’t wait to pour that bubble bath in the water and splash around in the tub, or dab on a little cologne. Aunt Sharon loved the zoo, she would buy a membership and take all the cousins to the zoo. We would spend many warm summer days exploring the zoo and bonding as a family. Sometimes she would bring a picnic to the zoo, I always ate too much of her potato salad and my personal favorite, her famous coconut cake. Aunt Sharon was a good cook; she enjoyed food and we loved eating the food she lovingly prepared. Because of my childhood experiences with Aunt Sharon, my favorite place to visit when I come home is the zoo. Memories of spending hot summer days exploring with my cousins, siblings and Bunny…Priceless! Family was important to Aunt Sharon and she lived it. Thank you Aunt Sharon, you gave of yourself, you have loved and added value to so many souls. I love you and I will miss you. Donna
