Sadie B. Allen (Gibson) was born on May 8, 1955. She was one of ten children born to the union of the late Robert and Inez Gibson, in Panola, Alabama.
Sadie moved to Cincinnati in her early teens with her siblings, where she spent her last days surrounded by her loved ones. Sadie was the sweetest and most compassionate lady. She made a living of taking care of her kids, grandkids, and other children. Sadie was always giving a helping hand to others whenever they were in need. She was a pillar of her community and was known for making the best fried chicken, keeping some of people’s deepest secrets, and she always gave free counseling. She loved to listen to music, shop at Dollar Tree, and buy scratch offs.
Sadie is preceded in death by her siblings, Fannie Green, Endie Hill, Florence Doss, Robert Gibson, and Roosevelt Gibson.
She is survived by her fiancé David Denson; her children, Roy Allen, Negal Allen, Lashaun Allen, Lakisha Orumah (Adejoh), Judath Gardner, Gladys Gardner, and Rozella Allen; siblings, Willie Earl Gibson (Thelma), Curtis Gibson (Catherine), Gent Gibson (Ann), and Rosie Isome; 20 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
