The family has my absolute deepest sympathy! Your mother was the crown jewel within TNBA for many years and was directly responsible for transforming me from an 18 year old scatterbrained child into the inspired man, committed to TNBA and all the things that it has done to mold me into the being that I am today! I owe all of that to your mother and her insight on creating the Junior Council program. It has been my commitment that her dreams be fulfilled for this program and I will do all I can to continue this dream that she had. I met with your mother twice in 2012, most recently in August with Keith Bridgeforth, my fellow charter member of the Junior Council Program. We all took a picture together (it appears in her Photo Gallery). Dewann Clark, Vice President, The National Bowling Association

Mrs. Moss (Edwina) and I have had our lives blessed by many special and gifted people. Sister Ruth Payne was one of those people. We can never forget her kindness and creativity. She was a great woman, wonderful wife, remarkable mother and distinguished community leader and servant. God smiled on Sister Ruth and like Ruth of the Bible she smiled on others. Her children and children's children will forever rise up and call her Blessed. We pray with the family as we thank God for this beautiful servant of Christ. Amen. Dr. and Mrs. Otis and Edwina Moss, Jr.

The Payne Hutton bond could not have been more well presented than in this tribute to the life of a great woman. Fondly known as Aunt Ruth to many of us, she was indeed a fearless pioneer in many respects, because of what she accomplished during her lifetime. Thank you Lord for leading her to James Payne, because that union brought two fine families together and created many wonderful memories across the Globe for all branches of the Family Tree. May we join in the Celebration of the Life of a Truly Fine Human Being. God Bless all who came her way.

We would like to express our sincerest condolences to the family of Aunt Ruth Payne. We have lots of wonderful memories including many from the Payne Family Reunion in 1979, held here in California. On her last visit to our home, she created a wonderful photo collage, titled "The Tucker/Blakley Museum", which we have on our wall along with many other art treasures. Her memory will be with us always. Much love. Ben Blakley and Dorothy Tucker, Los Angeles, California
Cathy left a message on December 22, 2012:
I wish to express my condolences to the family of Ruth Payne. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah is near to those who are crushed in spirit in times such as these. He has guaranteed a time soon when all those in the memorial tombs will come out. All mankind, including those who will welcome back their loved ones will live on a transformed earth in Paradise. At that time no one will get sick or ever die. These promises are faithful and true for God cannot lie. You can read this in the Bible at John 5:28,29; John 11:25 and Revelation 21:4,5.

Our prayers go out to the Payne )family, we would like to express our condolences at this time to your family. The Bible is a great source of encouragement at times like this, a comforting thought is at Revelation 21:4 "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away"

In regards to my grandmother Ruth L. Payne, she touched so many lives in so many different ways. Some in arts & crafts, volunteering, & bowling. I know as her oldest grandchild of all the Saturdays spending them in the bowling alley with her and my aunt Cynthia and uncle Dougie. Yes she touched all our lives in various ways. Anthony C Davis left a message on December 21, 2012:
John 5:28-30 Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment. 30 I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative; just as I hear, I judge; and the judgment that I render is righteous, because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him that sent me.
