Roshunda Michelle Jones – she was known to everyone that’s ever had the pleasure of meeting her as KITTEN! She was born on July 26, 1975, in Cincinnati, OH. Kitten unexpectedly received her wings on the tragic day of April 24, 2026 at 1:27 a.m. inside of her home. Although Kitten is no longer with us in the flesh, she leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, and quiet resilience, continuing to be spread through her spirit. She was a cherished daughter of Clarice Jones and Roland Bonds.
Kitten is an Empress in the Rasta community, known to everyone as Arereyel. She was known for her warm heart and unwavering dedication to those she loved. She carried herself with grace through life’s challenges and celebrated its joys with genuine gratitude. Whether through her kindness, her laughter, or her willingness to lend a helping hand, she touched the lives of many and left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She valued family above all else, and her Bengals of course – “Who Dey” -, but she found her greatest fulfillment in the bonds she built with loved ones and friends. Her passion was cooking and she was a chef to many. Everyone knew it was a good day if she was cooking a meal. Kitten’s presence brought comfort and light, and her memory will continue to inspire those she leaves behind – a sister to 30+ siblings, an aunt, a niece, and her countless family and friends. Lastly, Kitten was the wife of Gregory (Nebulun) Mckitric, married September 10, 2010, a proud mother of four children Shante, Duashan, Arereyel, and Noah, and a MeMaw to four grandchildren, her pride and joy, Du’Mara, Amari, Duashan Jr, and Alaya.
She is lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who were blessed to share in her life. “Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she is loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.”
