Rosemary Sheek

January 19, 1940 - June 12, 2015

Rosemary Sheek (nee Delaney) age 75 passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12th at Hospice of Butler Warren in Middletown, Ohio. Mary was born and raised in Murraysville (Jackson County) West Virginia to Albert William and Orena Mae (Kimes) Delaney. She resided in Parkersburg, W. VA. For a good part of her life. She moved to Middletown, Ohio in 1964 where she raised and loved seven children, 15 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
She loved to garden, play bingo and most of all play rummy. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Ina Midkiff and Nancy Barker; four brothers: Charles Delaney, Thomas Delaney, Paul Delaney, and Roger Logston; two grandsons: Robbie Hamman and Brandon Sheek. She is survived by four sons: James Sheek (Diana), Michael Sheek (Melissa), Brian Sheek, and William Bronson Sheek (Shari); three daughters: Mary Diane Smitson (Rick), Caroline Reed, and Sharon Hinners (Douglas); two brothers; James Logston (Joyce), and Carlton Logston (Blanca); two sisters: Mildred Pifer and Connie Logston; 15 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A private memorial service will be Saturday, June 20, 2015 – 3pm at The Atrium Medical Center Chapel. A Celebration of her life will follow on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or the Diabetes Association.
