Ronnell “Nook” Lamar Payne

Ronnell Lamar Payne, born on May 26, 1993, in Cincinnati, OH, sadly passed away on December 25, 2023. Ronnell was a beloved son, brother, uncle, boyfriend, and friend.

Ronnell graduated from Mt. Healthy High School in 2011, obtaining his high school diploma. He had a close-knit family and is survived by his loving parents, Ronald Payne Sr. and Angela Payne, his brother Ronald Payne Jr., sister, Brie Payne; and his two nephews, Ron Ron and Rhylon. Ronnell’s girlfriend, Aysia Coleman, was also a very significant part of his life. Additionally, he leaves behind a wide network of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends whom he cherished deeply.

In his free time, Ronnell enjoyed fishing and was often found casting his line in his favorite pay Lakes with his uncles and Aysia. He was always trying to catch that Trophy fish. He caught many! He had a passion for watching football and would eagerly root for his favorite teams. Ronnell also found joy in spending quality time with his beloved family and friends, making lasting memories. He had an affinity for playing video games online and would often engage in friendly competitions with his peers

Ronnell’s caring and nurturing nature were evident in his time spent with his nephews, Ron Ron and Rhylon. He cherished every moment he spent with them, imparting life lessons, and creating unforgettable experiences.

A Public Visitation will take place on Friday, January 5, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM at Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road Forest Park, Ohio 45240. A Funeral service will follow beginning at 11:00 AM.

Interment will take place at Vine Street Hill Cemetery, 3701 Vine Street Cincinnati, Ohio 45220.

May Ronnell rest in eternal peace, forever remembered and deeply missed by all whose hearts he touched.
