Dan Brown left a message on January 25, 2021:
I am an old friend. I got to know Ron shortly after his marriage to Gloria there in Cincinnati. We playing golf and generally just hanging out with family. He was a kind and a very humble person. I can’t remember a single time we spent together that was not pleasant. I have so many memories of those times where I can recall them as though it was only yesterday. Though I am not there due to conditions surrounding Covid-19 I can only share these times from a distance but know that my thoughts are there with family and the extended family though many things have changed my memories are current, my sympathy is with family and I miss just knowing that you were there. Rest In Peace my brother and I hope that we will visit with each other and share stories the great times we shared and calling each other “Rolla”. Dan

Thanks Pops for stepping in and being my dad when I needed one most! I appreciate all of the lessons you taught me, the talks that we had, the comfort you provided when I was hurting, and for introducing me to golf! I will miss those conversations and playing golf when I come home in the summer but I will always have them as memories to reflect on. I will also strive to become the dad to my kids as you were to me. That will be a big task but I will try! I just want to say that I love you and miss you so much already! I don't know what I am going to do when I come home this summer and you won't be there. I guess like all others that have lost loved ones, I'll just have to find a way to get through it. I love you and thanks again for being my dad! Sean
