Mrs. Feagins,
I have known since I was 8 years old and love her a lot. She would always give you motherly advice that you needed, whether; it made you cry, or open your eyes and heart, or give you some relief and comfort. I would call to talk to Jean and end up talking to Mrs. Feagins at times. We would talk about any and every thing, especially since I moved out of town.
Singing in the church choir, her voice was so spiritual that you felt every word in your soul. When she sung at my father's funeral I felt it in my heart and knew that it was going to be alright. My family is so appreciative for her lending her voice to us in our time of need.
When I would stay overnight at their house she was always kind and would cook up some of that good old southern food that she was so good at.
I will truly miss Mrs. Feagins! Michael, Sam and Jean you are in my prayers.
