It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Lee Steward, also known as Doc, 77, who passed away on 12/30/2024 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Born to Molly and Richard Stewart in Preston, Georgia, Robert Steward proudly joined the United States Air Force, where he served honorably. During his time in the Air Force, he had the opportunity to travel, meet new people, and face challenges that helped him grow as an individual. After serving time in the service, Robert Steward became a business owner, where he applied his entrepreneurial spirit and skills to create a successful venture. His work ethic and determination were key to his achievements, and his business was a reflection of his commitment and passion.
Known for his love of working with his hands, Robert took joy in repairing, building, and improving things. Whether washing cars, completing home projects, or lending a hand to friends and family, his ability to solve problems and create was a source of pride. His skills were not only a way for him to express himself but also a way to help others.
Robert Steward will be remembered not only for his love for his family and friends but also for his humor and friendliness. His quick wit brought joy to those around him, and he had a unique ability to make others smile, no matter the situation. His legacy of generosity, laughter, and genuine care for others will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Dorothy Smith, and her husband, Joe; daughters, Jessica, Andrea, and Sherikka; a dear friend, Elise; nieces and nephews, all of whom will forever treasure his memory. He is preceded in death by his mother, Molly Hightower Stewart (née Hightower); father, Richard Stewart; and brother, Jesse Stewart.
