Amen! thanks for the scripture, it contains the most import words of hope, assurance, comfort, and joy. A friend at our church read Is 57:1 " The righteous perisheth and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come"
Diana McCorkle (Gee) left a message on December 17, 2020:
Diana Gee (McCorkle) As a little girl I loved going to Vacation Bible school at Rev Cox's church on Melrose Avenue in the summertime. There were all kind of classes, just a fun time. It always felt like a family gathering. As I grow up Rev Cox (Mr Robert lee) always had encouraging uplifting words to help me with life challenges. Never judging always sharing what GOD said, how to live your life. Thank you for allowing me to be part of the family. "Well Done, Good and Faithful Servant." With arms open wide, Welcomed Home.

Prayers of comfort and strength to my cousins, dad aunts, uncles, sisters, brother, extended family, friends, and well wishers. God truly blessed us all when He placed "Uncle Bob" into our our lives. His deep love and devotion to God was admirable. His selflessness and generosity was commendable. His willingness to self- sacrifice for a total stranger was Christ liked. His place of business was a rescue mission and safe haven for all who entered inside. Yes, Uncle Bob, Preacher Bob, Teacher Bob, Scout Leader Bob, Rev. Cox, Daddy to his offspring, Robert Lee to his love Norma Jean will be missed by us all. But we will strive hard to keep your legacy and memory alive by living out a few of the many positive examples you lived before us. Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal. Love always, Nephew Spunky
