Bishop Richard Campbell Sr.

Bishop Richard Maurice Campbell Sr. Was born March 24, 1947 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of the late Bishop Daniel Campbell Sr, and Elect Lady Helen Campbell. He departed this Life surrounded by his loving family.

On July 5, 1970 he married Thelma L. Atkins Campbell. Out of the 51 year union, they had three sons Brian Christopher, Richard Maurice, and Jemuel Jason Lauren.
He was a dedicated man of God.
He was a Deacon, Elder and Bishop.

He also was a joyful man who loved to sing the praises of God. He was a man of great wisdom who loved to mentor and counsel people.
Bishop Richard started working at the age of 16. He owned the Campbell Group home for Men and Boys for over 30 years and ended his career at Cincinnati Public Schools.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Bishop Daniels Campbell Sr. and Elect Lady Helen Campbell, brothers Anthony Campbell (Ruby), Daniel Campbell Jr.( Dorothy); and sister, Glorijean Campbell.

He leaves to celebrate his life; his loving wife, Thelma L. Campbell; his sons, Brian Christopher, Richard Campbell Jr. and Jemuel Jason Lauren Campbell; his loving grandchildren, Diana Lynn, T’ariyonn Rose, Dakarai, Ellianna, Mykah; great granddaughter ,Karcyn; siblings, Bishop Robert A. Campbell Sr. (Shirley), Barbara Alexander-Campbell, and Leroy Campbell (Juanette) with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
