Rev. Billie G. Boykin

Billie George Boykin was born in Waynesville, MS to Willie B. and Arleatha Boykin on September 8, 1941. He fell asleep on February 18, 2023; a beautiful, Saturday morning!

Rev. Boykin graduated from Mobile County Training School in 1962 and left shortly after to join the Army. Rev. Boykin studied Theology at Zion Hill Theological Seminary and Liberal Arts at Sinclair Community College. He later met the love of his life, Kim Boykin, and married her in November of 1985.

Rev. Boykin was preceded in death by his parents, Willie B. and Arleatha Boykin; siblings Alvin, Reese, Ricky, Toni and Willie Mae; daughter, Pamela English; and granddaughter Ashlee Rucker. He leaves to cherish his memory, the LOVE of his life and devoted wife of 37 years, Kimberly D. Boykin; his children Toya (Ken) Martin, Karen (Anthony) Jackson, Theodore Bowman, Nathan English, Melvin English, Carla English, Pauletta English. Grandchildren, Karrington Martin, Donovan Martin, Bryauna Martin, Bryttani Rucker, Laurence Rucker Jr, Teddy Bowman, Madison Bowman, Kaidin Bowman, Alix Bowman, Tamisha Robinson, Christopher English, Darren Hampton and Nicole Cottrell; two loving sisters, Terri Conway and Francis Boykin; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and dear friends.
