Reginald “Reggie” Gene Brown II, age 37, was born on February 28, 1985 in Mountain View, California. He transitioned on March 28, 2022. He accepted Christ at a very young age and was baptized at Bethlehem Baptist Church where he served as a faithful usher and sang in the choir. With his humble and gentle spirit, he was loved and appreciated by all who came in contact with him. He grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from Forest Park High School. During his high school years, Reggie played football and ran track. He also worked at the Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store and then later worked at S&K Men’s Store, where he met his S&K family. He also attended Virginia Commonwealth University as an English Literature major. Reggie later served our country as a U.S. Air Force Firefighter stationed at Travis Air Force Base and obtained an Associate’s degree in Applied Fire Science.
After separating from the military with an honorable discharge, he married the love of his life, Atiya Jordan-Brown. Reggie and Atiya relocated to the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. While continuing his education towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology at Miami University in Oxford Ohio, Reggie started working for Amazon Air as an Aviation Security Credentialing Administrator. In 2020, Reggie and Atiya were blessed with a beautiful bundle of joy, their “baby girl” Josephine (Josie). Reggie adored his beautiful blessing from God, and she had him wrapped around her little finger.
Reggie is survived by his wife, Atiya Jordan-Brown; daughter, Josephine Louise Brown; parents, Crystal and Curtis Foxx and Reginald Brown I; Destiny Brown and Maya Brown; brothers, Jacob Brown, Damont Foxx, and Lamont Foxx; grandmother, Anna Johnson, father in-law Jimmy, mother in-law Vendella Jordan, sister in-law Alysia Jordan, brother in-law Tosha Jordan Mims who loved him as their own and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Reggie will be missed by his entire family and friends.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM at Thompson Hall & Jordan Funeral Home 11400 Winton Road, Forest Park, Ohio 45240. Memorial service will follow beginning at 1:30 PM.
