Mr. Reginald E. Williams Sr. was born on Monday, March 4, 1940, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Charles Williams & Ida Elizabeth Boston Williams.
Reggie as we all called him had a loving giving spirit. He and Linda married on August 12th 2011. He loved fellowshipping in church and was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Woodlawn after they married. He even drove the church bus for over 5 years for Mt. Zion Baptist Church Woodlawn.
Reggie retired from General Motors after 30 years. He worked for Andy Frain Security company as Security Officer under supervision of Randy Holmes for many years. While at Andy Frain he worked with Otis Elam where they became known as Andy and Barney by all who knew them. He also was a Security Officer for Greg Goodrum for several years. Later he went to work for Felix Moore with the Hearne House as Security for several more years until his health started to fail.
Reggie’s hobbies were woodworking and a nice wine collection which are still in his wine cellar, as well as collecting model cars and planes. He was a professional bowler for many years. His Masonic Organization affiliations include : Pride of the Valley Lodge #95, King Solomon Consistory #20, Sinai Temple #59 A.E.O.N.M.S, Lilly of the Valley Chapter #51 R.A.M, also a proud member of Pride of the Valley Chapter #71 & Prince White Court #1 H.O.J
Reggie is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ida Williams, Siblings: Richard Lee Jones, Robert Jones, Lillian Elayne Jones, Edna Jones-Casey and Michael Jones.
He leaves to mourn his wife Linda A Williams, brother Barry Williams (Mary Jo), Half-sister Rita Williams (and five other half-siblings from Father Charles Williams ) , Children: Darlene, Tina (Erick), Stephanie, Reggie Jr (Tammy), Dion, Brian, Shawn, Regale, Rashanda (Marlo), Simone (Romero), Twenty eight grandchildren, Forty seven great-grandchildren, Four great, great grandchildren, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
