To those I love and to those who love me, this is what I want you to remember about me. My favorite places were New Orleans and Slidell, Louisiana. I enjoyed the people, embraced their customs and their history. When I resided in Louisiana, I was a faithful member of Greater St. Stephens Full Gospel Fellowship, Presiding Bishop Paul S. Morton. I always included my dog as part of my family. My hobbies included preparing taxes, sewing and creating just about everything. I absolutely love the Lord and my church family at First Baptist Church of Mt. Healthy. Deal gently with each other and make room in your fellowship for one another. The span of life passes and our years are all too brief. Take whatever love you have for me and spread it around.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her true love, Gregory L. Reeves, life companion; sisters, Terrie Dawson, Anna Ruth Beddell and Dorothy Renee Idris; dear nieces, Bridget Shives and Brianna Faciane; nephew, Julian Shives-Sams; her extended family, Victor, Vincent, DiOne, Walter Hillman III and Angela Houston; along with a host of dear friends and cherished relatives.
