Rebecca Delores Jackson (nee Jones) was born October 2, 1942 in Hope Hull, Alabama to the union of the late Joseph Sr. and Callie Mae Jones. Rebecca was preceded in death by her daughter, Monika D. Jones, 5 brothers: Willie James Jones (Patricia), Johnny Lee Jones, Houston Jones, James Edward Tolliver and Sam Henry Jones (Patricia), 3 sisters: Mamie Lee Mack, Roxanne Perrman, and Beverly Wheeler.
Rebecca, Becky as she was affectionately called by family and friends received her education in the Hope Hull public school system. Rebecca graduated from Calhoun High School in Alabama. Rebecca spent a brief time in Oak Ridge, Tennessee before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. Rebecca had various jobs before settling at Convention Center (Duke Energy Center). Rebecca was there for 35 years before she retired. Rebecca and Albert (Sweets) have been together in marriage for over 40 plus years. Rebecca and Sweets enjoyed life traveling and doing whatever made them happy.
Rebecca was loved by so many, but God loved her more. So, He called her home on Sunday January 29, 2023.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, her husband Albert (Sweets) Jackson of Cincinnati, Oh., 5 children: Sharon Jones Smith of Louisville Ky., Angela Jones (Chris) of Covington, Ky., Greg Jones, Vernon Jackson (Angela) and her granddaughter that she raised when her mom passed and loved her like her daughter Felicia Jones, all of Cincinnati, Oh., a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, 7 brothers: Joseph Jones Jr. of Cincinnati, Oh., Jimmy Lee Jones (Bernice) of Benton Harbor, Mi., Tony Jones, Robert Jones, Willie Mack Jones, Alcus Tolliver, Joseph Tolliver, and Cleophus Tolliver all of Montgomery, Alabama, 7 sisters: Callie Mae Jones of Benton Harbor, Mi., Virginia Stovall, Patricia Moore (Michael) of Montgomery, Alabama, Laura Chrisholm (Hilliard) Johnnie Mae Means, Deborah Hill (Christopher) all of Hope Hull, Alabama, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
