Raymond E. Richburg, 82, born January 27, 1939, in Chapman, Alabama, to Willie and Ella Goosby Richburg and departed this earthly life on Friday, February 5, 2021. He graduated from former Courter Tech High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was employed by companies including A & R Industries, Milacron, General Motors and retired from Colerain Twp Senior Center. Ray owned and operated Richburg’s Quality Cleaners for many years and was also a part time Real Estate and Insurance agent.
Ray enjoyed fishing, gardening and discussing politics and going to the casino. He also loved to cook and eat, (collard greens and ribs) his specialty, and he excelled at both.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ella Richburg and his sisters, Margaret Richburg and Juanita Richburg Bedgood.
Those left to cherish Ray’s memory are his devoted wife of 37 years, Starla R. Richburg, sons, Zachary R. Richburg, Zaman J. Richburg (Kindra) brothers, Bill Richburg (Iva), Zollie Richburg (Verdie). Three grandchildren, Zayden, Zhuri and Zyon Richburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
