



Rachel D. Pace was born on April 15, 1957 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of Robert and Helen (Lightner) Robinson; the first child of seven siblings. She departed this life on May 20, 2014 at University Hospital surrounded by family.
On June 17, 1978 Rachel was joined in marriage to Ernest Pace and to this union, two children were born: Amber Pace Graves & Jamal Pace. Stepmother of Tobias L. Pace and Phillip Jones.
Rachel attended Lincoln Heights Elementary, graduated from Princeton High School in 1975 and received a bachelor’s degree at University of Cincinnati for Business Administration. Rachel was a career student and also graduated from Wilmington College where she received a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Hondros Career College where she obtained her Real Estate License. Rachel was also a Notary with the State of Ohio.
Rachel was employed at Jefferson-Smurfit Stone for 30 years. Self-employed as a Realtor at Coldwell Banker for the last 5 years.
Elder Rachel attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church at an early age; she also a member Southern Baptist Church where she became a Deaconess. Active member of Life Changing Ministries as an Elder over education. She devoted many hours of helping & mentoring others and ensuring the church was always moving in a positive direction.
Elder Rachel’s memories will be cherished by: her devoted husband, Ernest Pace, her children: Amber L. Pace Graves (Isiah), Jamal L. Pace, Phillips Jones of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Tobias L. Pace (Mary) of Hayward, California. Her grandchildren, Javen Pace, Jerrin Williams, Desmond, Isiah, Elijah and Amir Graves; Daniel Washington, Keith, Nicholas and Debbie Jones; Khala, Myah and Nadia Pace.
Her mother Helen Robinson, her paternal grandmother Sarah Robinson, her siblings: Rodney Robinson (Pamela), Lewis Robinson of Columbus, Ohio, Theresa Schooler (Reginald Sr.) of Evansville, Indiana, Valerie Wragg (William), Robert Robinson; proceeded in death by, Roberta Tapplar (sister); Robert Robinson (father).
Aunts: Mattie Powell, Emma Green (Richard), Henry Lightner, Eddie Robinson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Spiritual Sons & Daughters: Deacon Antonio Griffin, Sterling Wragg, Courtney Wragg, Mary Pointer and Fonika Thomas held a special place in her heart.
