Philene was a loving and caring mother, who enjoyed spending time with the family.
She was preceded in death by her brother, John Schumake Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, James Schumake and Alpheus Lamar Longino; three sisters, Selina Schumake, Mable Schumake, and Vicki Howard; two brothers, Michael, and Stan Schumake; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
