Perry Shazier

March 19, 1943 - January 30, 2012

Perry Shazier Sr. was born in Hamilton, Ohio on March 19th, 1943 to Allen and Catherine Shazier. He attended Hamilton City Schools and graduated from Garfield Sr. High. He was an outstanding basketball player and went on to play college ball at Central State University. He later joined the United States Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam War. He leaves to cherish his memory his lovely wife Janice, and nine children: Damita (Richard) Rhodes, Twanette (Todd) Bradbury, Dewayne Kirkland, Perry (Annalisa) Shazier, Alisha (David) Burks, Zachary Wilson, Beatrice Stringer, Christopher Shazier and Nina Fleetwood.
