
Ola Robinson was born on November 22, 1922 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Charles and Sateen Chambers and was the youngest of her three siblings whom preceded her in death. Ola Robinson was born on November 22, 1922 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Charles and Sateen Chambers and was the youngest of her three siblings whom preceded her in death.
After locating to Cincinnati, finding a church home and job were her first priorities. She united with the Corinthian Baptist Church at Richmond and Manual under the leadership of Rev. J.C. Carter. She later joined and was baptized at Philippians Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Harry Wilson in 1983. Her last member-ship was Inspirational Baptist Church where she was very active in the Pastoral Aide Club.
Ola’s preschool, elementary, high school and college education were all received in Alabama. She enrolled in evening classes and received extra college credits from the University of Cincinnati.
She was employed by the City of Cincinnati Police Department as a Civilian Personnel. She retired from the City of Cincinnati Health Department (Division of Leadership).
She was preceded in death by her foster brother, Joseph Johnson. Ola leaves to cherish her memory, family and many dear friends.
