Nathan E. Gamble, 49, passed away unexpectedly on August 3, 2021, with his family by his side. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Nathan Gamble and Lou Bertha Gamble. Nathan was called Nate by his friends and family, and some called him Frog. At the age of 11, while attending Macedonia Baptist, Nathan gave his life to Christ. He later joined Second Corinthian Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. R.L. Hardy. Nate would work out his soul salvation by singing in the choir where he led his favorite song “Center of My Joy”. Although he would be in and out of the building, Nate loved the Lord till his last days. He loved working with his hands at a very young age, so it was not a surprise that he would get a degree in carpentry. After graduating from Atterbury Job Corps Center, in Indiana, he worked alongside his Dad and his favorite uncle Junior.
Nate lived a full and vibrant life with more friends than you could count. He was known as a jokester, and he was the life of the party. Nate loved music and playing instruments. He also enjoyed dancing, cooking, traveling and had a passion for old school cars. Even though Nate’s health was declining, he was a fighter, and he never gave up.
At 21, Nate was blessed with his first son Eric Green; they have never left each other side. In 1992, he met Ronda Master in Cincinnati. Ronda had a child from a previous relationship – Sha’Ronda Master-who he raised as his own. From their union, they had two lovely boys, Nathan and Nayshawn. In addition to being a dedicated and loving father, he was the best grandfather anyone could ask for. He shared a special, untouchable, and unbreakable bond with his beautiful granddaughter Ra’Ziah. No words could express the love that he had for her as well as the love she had for him.
Anyone who knew Nate knew that he was the most loving father, papa, and life partner a family could ask for. Nate was predeceased by his parents, son, and brother-in-law, Nathan Gamble and Lou Bertha Gamble, Nayshawn Gamble, and Keon Master. Nate is survived by his significant other, Ronda Master; his loving children, Sha’Ronda, Eric, and Nathan; his sisters Kemberly (Ke’Airra and Christopher), Dorrinna “Rudy” (Gianni, Leandre and Dorrissa); his granddaughter, Ra’Ziah, and a host of extended family and friends.
