Myron Blair, affectionately known as “Twin,” was born on August 28, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Charles and JoAnne Blair. He was one of ten children born to this union, sharing a unique and unbreakable bond with his identical twin brother, Michael Blair, Sr., who preceded him in death.
A man of deep faith, Myron recommitted his life to God and served faithfully as a Deacon in his church. He was also proud to have earned his Associate’s Degree in Accounting, a testament to his dedication and perseverance.
Myron’s life was marked by love, laughter, and loyalty. He was known for his generous heart, quick wit, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He had a commanding presence and voice, and when he walked in the room, you knew he was there.
Family was everything to Myron. He was a proud grandfather who cherished time spent with his loved ones—especially cooking, playing cards, sharing stories, and creating memories. If you called, he was coming! His loyalty and love knew no bounds.
A pivotal moment in his life was when he reconnected with the love of his life, Shirley. He found great joy in traveling, camping, and watching movies with his beloved wife, Shirley. Their bond was a source of strength and happiness, and their adventures together were among his most treasured moments.
Myron’s presence radiated joy, and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength, and he will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to share in his journey.
On July 6, 2025, he was called home. Myron was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and JoAnne Blair; his siblings, Gary, Orville, Constance, Timothy, Michael Sr., Robbie Jo, and Kathy. He leaves to cherish his devoted wife, Shirley; his three daughters: Yumorria Laketa Cole and grandson, Jonli Myron; Myra Wionne Dixon (Lonnie) and his grandchildren: Lonnie, Lamia, and Leonie; and his great-grandchildren: Laila, Lonnie IV, Leland, and Alani; Quimberly SueAnn Winstead (Dante) and his grandchildren: Montez, Amica, Channon, Robert, Dorian, Kionna, Makiya, and Dante, and his great-grandchildren: My’Onna, Aubrielle, Tayshawn, Marlayna, Summer, Sky, Dyn’Ver, Tae’Von, Ayla, A’Ziya, Wy’Yomi, and William Jr.; and his son, Issac Allen Collins Sr., and his grandchildren, Char’Leece, Issac Jr., and I’veah; and two sisters, Ann and Deborah. He also leaves to cherish his memory several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
