Murphy Roy Naylor Jr. was born December 30, 1966, to Vera Mae Naylor and Murphy Roy Naylor Sr. in Cincinnati, Ohio. He joined Kingdom of God Ministries and was baptized in 2005. He was the middle child of two brothers, Michael Naylor and the late Curtis Stegall.
Murphy attended Roger Bacon High School and graduated in 1985. During his high school years, he was a running back at Roger Bacon. He set many high records during his football season. Shortly after graduation, he joined the United States Navy on December 17, 1985.
Murphy was a man who always loved to do it his way. He was entertaining, fun, a protector, loving, and a jokester at heart. He was a caring man and would do anything for anyone. His hobbies were spending time with family and friends, fishing, playing pool, watching “Shark Week”, dominoes, horseshoe, karate movies and more.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his parents, Vera and Murphy Naylor, his loving wife of 38 years, Sandra Naylor; his five children Erin (Erica), Brandi (Sean), Brittany, Maurice, and Mario; grandchildren, Amani, Davonte, Amari, Shanti, and Kyreese. He would have been a great grandfather to Zylis, and a host of family and friends.
