Melnea was a highly respected Therapist at Cincinnati Children’s. First Black Therapist at Cincinnati Children’s.
She earned two Masters Degrees, was an Entrepreneur, an Adjunct Professor at University of Cincinnati, Camp counselor at Camp Felicity, a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, NASW and The Flames Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed Basketball, Fishing, Camping, Hiking, Sci-Fi movies and running Marathons.
Melnea is preceded in death by her parents Stonewall and Hattie Paige (Thomas), brother Duane Paige, niece Kelly Black and nephew Terez Richardson.
She leaves behind her loving wife Deanna Evans, children Marcus Evans and Tyler Ortiz (Baker) (Skyler Ortiz) and grandchildren Luna Evans and Stone Ortiz. Brothers and Sisters Wilbert Paige, Michael Paige, Melantha Paige, and nieces Yolanda Paige, Mia Paige [Gavin Montgomery], Kiara Bernard, Jonathan Richardson and Tanisha Richardson. Great niece June, great nephew Jaxson as well as a host of cousins, cherished friends and colleagues.
Melnea will always be remembered for her love of family, friends, laughter, her love of nature and most of all her love of God.
