Watch Video TributeMary Katherine Bradley was born on August 12, 1957, to proud parents Geraldine McClain Bradley and Reginald Larkins. Her arrival was met with great expectation, and her father and grandmother, Katherine Obanion, excitedly shared the news with countless family members and friends.
Mary was a kind and gentle person, a beacon of love and kindness. Her gentle spirit and compassionate heart made her beloved to many. She had a way of making everyone feel seen and heard. Though shy, Mary had a toughness that allowed her to live life on her terms. Music brought her immense joy, particularly the soulful voices of Tom Jones, Michael Jackson, Tupac, Marvin Gaye, and Earth Wind & Fire. She’d often dance and sing, radiating joy to all who watched her. A devoted follower of Christ, Mary loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed gospel music for spiritual upliftment. She attended Trinity Missionary Baptist Church until her illness. For twenty-five years, Mary worked at Quality Associates (Procter & Gamble) as a Lead Supervisor, inspiring others with her diligence and skill. She was a generous soul who touched many lives with her kindness and resilience in the face of tragedy.
Mary’s greatest pride was being the mother of three fantastic sons: Glenn Edward Bradley (Nook), Dannon Foreman (Dan), and Julius Bradley (Jay). She dedicated her life to her “boys” and cherished the arrival of her grandchildren: Jasmine Bradley, Anthony Langston, Chayna Givens, Jamika Abernathy, Ashanti Haggard, Dashawn Foreman (“UU”), Jayden Bradley, and Jamari Bradley. Her family grew with the addition of thirty great-grandchildren, all precious and dear to her. Julius Morrow, her loving & devoted Life Partner shared a love story with her that has endured for decades.
She is also survived by siblings Nadine Bradley, Thomas Bradley (Tommy), and Yosh Bradley, as well as special aunts, Gwen Obanion and Martina Hinton. A bond of love exists with all her nephews and nieces. Her legacy lives on through the countless lives she touched. May her memory be a blessing to us all.
