Mary Eunice Lyons was born in Jackson, Georgia on November 6, 1936 to Robert Lee Lyons and Ruth Mae (Davis) Lyons.
She departed this life on April 20, 2020 at home with family members around her.
Mary went to Cincinnati Public Schools.
Mary has three lovely daughters, Victoria, Stephanie, and La-Prelle.
In her life, she was a member of Revelation Baptist Church, The Kingdom Church, and was also a member of Crossroads Church.
She loved her sports, baseball, boxing, bowling, and football. She loved cooking for her family and having meals. She was a member of the I-Dom-I Elks Lodge 1287 in Lockland, Ohio.
She worked at Saint Francis Hospital, Holiday Inn, in the tristate, and the Embassy Suite, where she retired in 2014.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lee Lyons; her mother, Ruth Mae (Davis) Lyons; brothers, James and Odell Lyons; sister, Lee (Lyons) Sofer; daughters, Victoria Lyons and Stephanie (Powell) Long; and granddaughters, Tiffany Lyons and Jackie (Evans) Traore.
She leaves to mourn; her daughter, La-Prelle (Powell) Christopher James; granddaughters, Tina Evans, Janaha Long, Ashley Polidore (Mike), Brittany, and William Long; great grandkids, Kevontae, Mohamed, Montrec, Keyaisja, Manthita, Omar, Ya-Ya; great-great grandkids, Jial, Kevontae Jr, and Dominic; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
