Mary Dudley was born on August 28, 1931, to Will and Laura Dudley. She was the youngest of eleven children.
Mary attended the Lockland educational system. She received Christ at an early age at Burress Temple in Lockland. Mary became one of the mothers of the church at Higher Faith Ministries.
Mary married Albert McQueen and from that union were born two daughters, Shirley McQueen, and Alma Elizabeth McQueen. Mary later in life married Chester Dudley who preceded her in death. They had five children together.
Mary was known to be a fashionista and for her red lipstick kisses for her nieces. She was an excellent seamstress. During back-to-school season, she was the person that the neighbors went to for their children’s alterations. Mary also became known for piercing ears.
During the golden years, Mary resided at the Cambridge Arms Apartments. She was affectionately called “Pretty Mary”.
Mary is preceded in death by three children, Larry Dudley, Rosemary Dudley Lewis, and Alma McQueen. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Shirley McQueen, Chester Donald Dudley, Kim Dudley (Helen), Gregory Dudley (Marian); her loving sister-in-law and best friend, since they were teenagers, Doris Patterson, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, church members, and friends.
