I am saddened to learn of my dear friend's transition. I have known Mary throughout junior high, high school, college and beyond. She was always smart, kind, and had a beautiful smile and spirit. So sorry to have not known prior to this moment. My last visit with her was years few years back during her recuperation at the nursing home. She is in great hands now...So long old friend, see you on the other side.

I extend my heartfelt sympathy my Soror (Sands) Cathy Lowry. I had the pleasure of attending Kentucky State University with her. In fact she was my line sister for our illustrious Sisterhood, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Cathy was a gentle giant with a big heart.
I am grateful that I was able to see her for our 40th Deltaversary. She had that same pretty smile. I pray that the family will be comforted by God and encouraged with many fond memories! Now, Sands you are apart of the Omega Omega chapter. Rest in peace.

It is with heartfelt prayers to you the family of Cathy Lowry that I extent these words. I met Cathy at Kentucky State University where she became a member of our beloved Sisterhood, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. I served ad Dean of Pledges as it was called back in the day. Cathy had a warm smile. kinda quiet and sincere. I recall my last time seeing her when her line sisters invited members of the Sorority to their silver celebration. That beautiful smile adorned the room. I will always remember Cathy. My condolences and prayers of comfort to the family. Sweet Soror, your name will forever be written in the Omega Omega chapter. You have finished your course, now eternal rest.
