

Marvin Bentley was called home to be with the lord on June 13, 2020 in Cincinnati, OH. He was born on April 2, 1959 in Macon, GA from the union of Melvin and Emily Bentley and was the oldest of two children.
At the age of 3 his family relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio where he attended and graduated from Princeton High School in 1978 with a certification from Scarlet Oaks in welding. With this certification he landed a job with General Electric with whom he was employed with for over 30 years.
He was the proud father of two children, Kristian and Amanda Bentley and two stepchildren, Corey and Brandy Hobbs. He worked very hard to provide them all with the best along with his 11 grandchildren who he also doted on.
Marvin was a cheerful and very generous man. He loved cars, traveling, listening to music and spending time with his family and friends. Times spent with him were always filled with lots of love, laughter, and storytelling.
He leaves to cherish his memory his parents; his 4 children; 11 grandchildren; one brother Douglas (Cassandra) Bentley; aunts, Mattie Martin, Lillie Johnson, Agnes Hollingshed; uncle Willie J (Alean) Bentley and a host of other family and friends.
