They say first impression is everything. I met Marty when I was about 13 years old. We talked for about 10-15 minutes. He look me in the eye and said I was pretty. I didn't see him for almost 25 years later. He walked up to me and repeated everything we talked about when I was 13 years old. He said I left an impression on him. You don't have to see someone everyday to know there heart. RIH Marty. My condolences to his family

I remember, when Marty had rehab, following triple bypass surgery, summer 2012. I came to visit him, and he had an attractive nurse’s aid helping him. He caught me eying her, and said “just talk to her, dude. You young cats make everything so hard!” Always the ladies man! Gonna miss you, big cousin!

To Marty one who talked some serious tennis trash whether it be at Madisonville, the Triangle, College hill, Colonial, wherever, But is always willing to back it up. The battles of watching you and Rudd vs Chico and Jeff James were always must see. My condolences go out to your family especially to your son Julian.

To the family of Marty, please accept my sincere condolences. I had the pleasure of meeting Marty during my time in Cincinnati in the early to mid 90's. Marty was always a gentleman, a thoughtful and sweet person. He knew how to throw a party and was a great tennis player. A gentle soul gone way too soon. Blessings to his family and friends.
