With deepest sorrow, we announce that Marlow Vantrel Yamonte’ Hunter was called home on Tuesday, January 24,2023. He is well known as LO’ but those who knew him best knew him as Dooder.
Marlow, was born on Friday February 5, 1993 at 8:30am, to Ina Rachelle Hunter and Vincent Dexter Pankey. Marlow was a super cute baby with big pretty brown eye like his mother and a perfect round head with features like his father. He was raised by his mother in Cincinnati, Ohio. Although he suffered severely from asthma and sleep apnea, he was a very joyous, active child. Marlow had a beautiful smile that lit up a room, with dimples so deep like the craters in moon.
Marlow became an older brother to his sister Ebony Brazile in December of ‘97. He was the definition of a big brother, he was a protector, a provider and confident. He took the role of a big brother very seriously. Marlow was a mischievous adolescent who charmed himself out of trouble. Marlow’s an extravert, everyone that came across him loved him instantly, he never met a stranger. August of 2009, Marlow had his first son with his High School sweetheart Bry’lashea King. He went on to Graduate from Finneytown High School in 2011. Following High School, he attended Cincinnati State to pursue his passion in culinary arts. Marlow was a true foodie, from recommending the best restaurants, to his authentic recipe ideas to preparing five-star meals himself.
He went on to have four additional children, 3 girls and 1 boy who he enjoyed spending time with; from family vacations, summer activities, movie nights, camping, and shopping, He was a stern father, yet a push over for his kids. Marlow was a proud father and loved his kids very much.
He loved all his family and was especially close to his Granny who he was named after. As he grew into manhood his relationship with his “POP”, Andre Brazile became exceptionally strong. Marlow was still trying to figure things out. He aspired to be an entrepreneur as he was a big dreamer, who wanted nothing more than to provide generational wealth for his children and his mother. He was an undeniable mama’s boy and didn’t want to do anything other than make her proud. Lo’ was the Swag King, certified sneaker head, trend setter, known for his sense of style. Marlow was very handsome leader with had a great sense of humor; he was funny but did not play games and his laughter was contagious.
When God decided to call Marlow home, he appeared heathy and full of life, but had underlying respiratory issues that he succumb too in his sleep. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by his sudden death. Marlow was not in the tradition of religious but he was a spiritual man with his own personal relationship with God, and believed in living to please him, because he was steadfast on living by the scripture of honoring thy mother and father exodus 20:12.
“Children obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.” Colossians 3:2
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed we are to have experience his physical presence, love, loyalty, laughter, and bravery.
