Mark Crissinger, a loving husband, devoted father, and respected Navy veteran, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2023, at the age of 64. Born on November 9, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, Mark brought joy and light to the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark’s deep commitment to his family was evident throughout his life. He was the beloved son of Lawrence and Mary Crissinger, who nurtured and supported him with unwavering love. Mark shared a beautiful journey of love and companionship with his cherished wife, Jane “Tina” Crissinger, whom he married on March 10, 1986. Together, they built a strong and enduring bond that transcended time.
A man of honor and duty, Mark served in the United States Navy for twenty years, dedicating four years on active duty and sixteen years in the reserves. He proudly served on the legendary USS Iowa ship, leaving a legacy of bravery and commitment to his country.
Away from his military service, Mark found solace and joy in simpler pleasures. He had a passion for travel, eagerly exploring new destinations and creating lasting memories with his loved ones. Mark possessed a sharp mind and a curious spirit, thoroughly enjoying the challenge of solving puzzles and engaging in enriching books.
Mark will be forever remembered as a compassionate and caring individual. His legacy lives on through his loving wife, Jane “Tina” Crissinger; his sister, Debra Crissinger, and his brother, Gary Crissinger. He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law, Marvin Daniels, Harry (Wanda – deceased) McCall, Timothy Daniels, Jerry (Moni) Daniels, and Alan (Regina); his sisters-in-law, Lachelle Lee and Julie Daniels.
Mark’s loving embrace touched the lives of his three children, Antonio Daniels, Denise Daniels (deceased), and Torrance Daniels (deceased), grandchildren, Jada Daniels, Raymond Campbell, Freddie White, and LaQuika Campbell (deceased) along with twelve cherished great-grandchildren.
Additionally, Mark will be profoundly missed by his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of dear friends, all of whom were enriched by his love and presence.
