My deepest condolences to the Smith- Wright family. Lori was a wonderful lady. She could be a tough cookie but deep down inside she had a good heart and wanted the best for her team.. She was a supervisor of mine at Humana. I enjoyed working with her. We shared many laughs together.

The Wright-Smith family: Life is like a story book with the drawing light God gives to each of us a clean new page to write. Each day a chapter ends and all we've written there can never erased, so let us write with care, words and deeds let all we write be fit for heaven's library. Love A. C. & Charity Garner

Where do I start? I knew I would grow to like Lori when I found I out we shared the name of "Lori Ann". Lori was a good person, funny, easy to talk to and loving. I appreciated her friendship and very thankfully she brought my 2 nephews, AJ and Aaron into this world. I will miss her Holiday visits to our home in Chicago, the crazy conversations about our kids and work related stuff. My prayers go out to the boys, my brother Andre, Lori's mom Helen and anyone fortunate to know her or be touched by her love, wisdom, honesty and friendship. I will always love and miss my sister-n-law, my sister and friend. Deepest condolences from Steven Douglas, Lauren A. Douglas, the kids (Steven Jr. and Madison) and myself. Lori Ann Smith (Chicago)

My dearest Lori.  I am truly at a loss for words. My heart is so full. You were such a bright light in my life.  From the moment you said hi when you sat down next to me at Macy’s we instantly bonded.  Your smile and your laughter were contagious.  You never had a bad day and if you did, we never knew it.  We were Thelma and Louise before we even hit the road to Columbus.  I drove and you talked.  The time we spent inside and outside of work I will cherish forever! I will miss you dearly.  I thank God for you and for the knowledge you shared, your words of advice and especially your encouragement.  To her sons, AJ and Aaron thank you for sharing your mom. She loved you both so dearly.  She was truly a wonderful, sincere, kind, beautiful and loving person My sincerest heartfelt condolences to you and the rest of Lori’s family.  Sending my love and prayers that God strengthens and provides you comfort in your grief.

To the Wright-Smith family so sorry. Lori and I have been friends since grammar school as she lived next door to my grandparents the Coopers. I owe going back to college to Lori who brought me an application to Chgo State after dropping out. She called me over the holidays to see how I was doing and coping with the loss of my Mom. I will forever remember her kindness and smile that came through no matter what. AJ and Aaron your Mom loved you dearly and through this pain her memories and love will be cherished. May God be with you! Heather Lindsay

AJ & Aaron our family sends condolences to you all. I met Lori in 1993 when I worked with her at ChoiceCare/Humana. We babysat AJ a few times and nurtured her pregnancy with Aaron. She was one of the sweetest persons I have met always positive and upbeat and kept our spirits up in that grueling call center. We stayed in touch after I changed jobs and then moved out of town. I was her “Nana” and she was my Scoochie. She will be missed. From our family Rox, Robert , Ericka & Ebony to yours, you have our prayers
