Lester James Daniels III

Lester “Butch” James Daniels III was born May 1, 1965, to the loving parents Lester James Daniels Jr. and Sharon Diane Daniels. Our beloved Lester departed this life on October 20, 2024.

Lester, lovingly referred to as “Butch” by family and friends attended Roll Hill Elementary, where he acquired the ability to tumble, which was something he enjoyed. Lester had a love for sports, beginning in his early years, when he would play neighborhood football for Western AA as a child in the 5^th grade. He was known for his remarkable speed. He also attended Mt. Healthy South and later, Forest Park High School.

Lester was popular amongst the ladies and took pride in looking his best for any given occasion. He was a kindhearted person and a caretaker where he embodied the saying, “the type of person to give you the shirt off their back”. Lester was benevolent, family-oriented, and a friend to all. Anyone who crossed his path would be instantly captivated by his charismatic, inviting personality.

Lester was preceded in death by parents, Lester James Daniels Jr. and Sharon Diane Daniels.

He leaves to cherish his memory four beautiful children, sons Lester James Daniels IV and Dwayne Ford, two daughters Cynthia Jackson (Kevin) and Tiffany Taylor (Bolo); a host of grandchildren, KeAriah, Keasia, KeAiona, Kevin, Kenneth, Kendall, Da’marionna, Dwayne Jr., Da’marion, Autumn, August, Apryl, Mi’shea, Malia, Malaya, Mekhi, Mason, Johnny, Jahmylah, Lauren, London, Malcolm, Nzinga and Nzuri; great grandchildren Kyier and Kaison Smith; siblings, sister Lisa Dee Jackson (Darrell); two brothers Dante’ and Casey Daniels; and a host of loving relatives and dear friends.
