To Richard and Family: My heart goes out to you in this sad time. Words cannot replace someone lost, but they might offer comfort to the mind and soul for moments of peace. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever." Amen

Amanda Bellish left a message on February 2, 2022:
I lived on Kyran’s dorm floor last year, and we used to skate together. I was just a beginner — I mean I couldn’t even ollie. That was actually the first conversation I had with him. He complimented the design on my deck in the hallway and asked if I had my ollie down. I said, “not yet.” He encouraged me to keep working on it. We started skating together. He would always give me advice and let me borrow skate tools and parts. I watched him do his tricks, and I saw his collection of decks, and it made me realize what skating could be. His encouragement meant everything to me. I’m known to give up hobbies within a few months, but he is the fuel that still keeps me going every time I get on my board. I will always remember the day he said, “If you keep going at this rate, you could be as good as me by next year.” And that level of optimism and kindness is how I’ll always remember him.

I lived on the same floor as Kyran last year, and we’d always say hi to each other as we passed. He always seemed to have a smile when I saw him, and I would always hear him and his friends having fun when I passed his door. While we hung out on a few occasions, I wish I would’ve gotten to know him earlier in the year because he seemed like a great friend to have. May he Rest In Peace.

Kyran was one of the first faces I met in the dorms last year and right off the bat I could tell what a good guy he was. He would always take the time to talk if I saw him around campus and had so much positive energy. He was a genuine person and had such a bright smile whenever I saw him. Rest In Peace. You will be missed.

Kyran was the first friend I made in our dorm last year. He came up to me early in the year and initiated conversation, & I instantly knew how kind his heart was. Bubbling personality and a wonderful man. Nothing but good memories of Kyran.
