Dr. Agbo was born on Monday, May 14th, 1945, to the deceased Gbedepe and Aklobessi at Avepozo, Togo. After high school, he continued schooling in Benin and Ivory Coast for his bachelor’s.
In 1972, he obtained his master’s in physiology in France, followed by a doctorate in nutrition in 1977. His main areas of study were Structural and Metabolic Biochemistry, organic chemistry, and animal physiology. He chose to devote his life to public health in Togo, focusing on helping promote adequate nutrition for children and the undeserved population using easily accessible produce of the region.
Dr. Agbo worked on multiple projects and research all around the world in collaboration with different international organizations. He moved to Cincinnati in 2004.
Dr. Agbo most important accomplishment is his family. He married his beautiful wife in 1990 and raised 3 amazing children. He loved going to church every Sunday and during weekdays.
Dr. Agbo believes faith and prayers can move mountains. The important lessons his children learned from him are humility, dedication, believing in God, and focusing on an education of their choice.
