Mr. King Wilson, Jr. was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 18, 1936 to the late King S. Wilson and Lois P. (Payne) Wilson. He departed this life on December 21, 2014 at Tri-County Extended Care in Fairfield, Ohio; where he also obtained Vitas Innovative Hospice Care.
King was a 1954 graduate of Wyoming High School. He obtained a 1985 Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Most importantly, Senior Master Sergeant King Wilson dedicated 27 years of his life to the United States Air Force. He received several medals and honors. After his Military career, he worked with the United States Postal Service. He was a former Mason.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Wilson; his sisters, Ella (Riley) Walker and Janice (Estel) Williams; his brothers, Alfred Wilson and Reuben Wilson.
King leaves to mourn: Son, Nolan (Shellette) Gibbs, grandchildren, TaMeca (Michael) Mines, TaShira Gibbs, Keondra Gibbs and Nolan Gibbs, Jr., and six great grandchildren. He also leaves his former wife, Grace Wilson, his two brothers, Lester (Thyra) Wilson and Joel (Josephine) Wilson; sister-in-laws: Elizabeth Wilson and Barbara Harrison, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
