I worked with Karen for years at Cincinnati Bell. She was a pillar of wisdom and knew no strangers. Her smile lite up a room. She was always so positive and out going. I will miss her deeply. I will always remember the projects we worked on together and the fun we had. There will be a huge void here on earth!

My dear Karen, I don't know if you knew just how highly I've always thought you. I admire your strength, your perseverance, your intelligence, your insight, your compassion, your courage. You exemplified those qualities until the end. What a legacy you've left behind; truly a life well lived. Thank you for our special relationship. You were my mentor, my big sister, my confidant, my friend. For that, I am eternally grateful.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Karen will be sorely missed by everyone that knew her. Such a loss for us on earth and such a gain and blessing for heaven. Karen was like a saint, no she was a saint on earth and now is an Angel in heaven. I sure as an Angel Karen will continue her calling, helping others in many ways. Prayers for the family.
My deepest sympathies go out to all of Karen's family members and friends. I had the honor of knowing her through our Cincinnati Bell years and then some. She had such joy for life and anyone in her presence would be hard pressed to not feel the same way. I'm going to miss you Karen, but you'll always be a bright light for me. I feel sure God welcomed you with "a job well done my dearest" and I couldn't agree more. Thanks for being my friend.
In life sometimes you are placed in someone’s path or they are placed in yours where you are then forever touched by that new life connection. I do not believe those occurrences are by accident.
I was indeed fortunate to have had the opportunity to know Karen Howard, to share in her insatiable joy for life and for those authentic relationships that she gathered around her and maintained and then generously shared with and introduced to others.
She provided the additional gift of introducing me to her daughter Ricki who reflects her personality and gregarious passion for life.
I am only one of thousands of lives that she interacted with and I am indeed fortunate and blessed by the honor to be called one of her many friends.
Karen, thank you for opportunity to be a part of your life. I feel certain that as you are gathered above that you will be received with the words of “Well done my good and faithful servant”!
May your family be comforted during this time of grieving. Sincerely your friend - T. J. Bugg
May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences. - Shameeka Emanuel

Karen was a very special, classy lady with sunshine, smiles, and laughter-out-loud for everyone. I worked with her at Bell many years ago but talked to her about a year ago and it was as if we were old friends. I feel lucky to have met her and I am sad that she is gone. She will be missed so much. I am sending prayers and condolences to her daughter Ricki and her family.

I worked with Karen for many, many years at Cincinnati Bell. We were never directly in the same section or department but we knew each other and would talk whenever we had the chance. She was such a lovely lady. Always ready to help. Always ready to have fun. Always ready to "fill in" if needed. Very dedicated to everything that she did. I send her family prayers, thoughts and hope that you can celebrate her life with all of the good memories that must have.

Mom Karen was truly one of a kind. Loving, caring, such a beautiful reflection of God's love. She was such a blessing to me, that while fighting her own battle, she took the time to encourage me during my cancer fight. Cancer sucks, but God is awesome always. Praying for you all. May God continually comfort the family at this difficult time.

Karen Howard was truly a very special friend, coworker, Mother, and Sister in Christ. We were blessed to have known her. I'll see you one day!
My family has only known Mom Karen a couple of years. She's been hands on with my son Akeem since he was diagnosed with MS last Christmas Eve. She threatened to whoop him if he didnt keep his dr appointments, told him how important it is to keep them, and told me "I got on him and hes going to do better". Thank you for your unconditional love Mom Karen, love the Walker family.
