Juanita, my friend, my sis! Oh how I am going to miss you. Our laughs, talks and just having fun. I met her in a group and I knew that from the first time we starting talking we would click. Ever since that day we became sisters. She put me in my place when need to be along with her sister Pat who I also grew to love. The laughs we shared were so special and I am going to miss you so much my friend and sister. My heart is broken but I know you are in a better place. I love you and so glad I still have my other sister Pat to keep me in check. Rest in peace my sweet sister and may The Lord Bless your family! Rest easy and I will see you when I get there!

I had the pleasure of working with Juanita for the past several years. She was such an amazing person and had a love for all. Juanita always took interest in how my son Luke was doing with baseball. She would say “tell my buddy to get me a hit.” I shared with Luke that Juanita passed away and I asked him to get a hit for her, which he did. He came up to me during one of his games and asked if he could cross his heart and point to the sky for her. I know she was looking down and cheering him on. There are so many things that I will miss about Juanita. I am a better person for knowing her and will try my best to show the world the love she did. I love and miss you Juanita.

I actually met ‘Mamma Juanita’ through her daughter Marty. My daughter and Marty became great friends in college and I felt blessed by this divine connection. Therefore, I desired to know the wonderful woman who had raised such a wonderful daughter. When I met Juanita it was as if we had known each other all our lives. She was a wonderful person and her heart was welcoming and warm. I asked if I could keep Marty in Tuskegee and she adamantly replied, “No!” LOL! I’ll miss you Juanita.

I knew Juanita through a Facebook group we were in. Her and her sister Pat as well as others in the group all felt like teenagers having an old fashioned good time. Juanita is what we needed in times like they are. There’s a party going on in heaven right now. Party on queen.

Mama Nita was a bonus mom I gained through my friend Martyse. She immediately welcomed me with love as if I was also her daughter. She was hilarious, joyful, and sported an infectious smile. I remember when she came down to Tuskegee during our senior year in college. We had a "family gathering" at Marty's apartment where we ate and shared memories and danced. I remember Mama Nita laughing and trying to learn the line dances. I will never forget her vibrant spirit and love for life. We love you Mama Nita and will miss you forever! Until we meet again...:yellow_heart::yellow_heart::yellow_heart:

Juanita was someone that everyone would love if they met her. She had a great sense of humor and she was down to earth. I am so blessed to have known her the short period of time we shared in zoom and messages within our sisterhood circle. I am going to miss her and how she made me laugh out loud. She was a gem and now she is wearing her crown full of gems sitting at the Masters feet. Love you Pat Price Adams. God bless Martyse and family as you honor a true Queen in her own right. Bittersweet Memories. Forever live Juanita.

Juanita is my little sister. Every since I can remember whenever I went somewhere my mama made me take her with me. At first it was just to walk to the corner store. When we moved and I was old enough to ride the bus it was to go downtown shopping. In the beginning I resented having her rag along but those trips made us best friends. She was my confidante and I could tell her anything. She would never sugarcoat her answers and would always give me straight facts and her honest opinion. I love her with my whole heart and it is shattered because I miss her so much. Rest on Sissy until we meet again. This earth is a lot emptier without you, but heaven has gained a beautiful, wonderful spirit. Love you always:heart::heart::heart:
