Jordan Sanders Kennedy was born June 14, 1992, to Alicia Sheafe and Terrance Kennedy in Cincinnati, Ohio. He departed this life May 15, 2026. During his formative years, Jordan attended Christ Emmanuel Christian Fellowship. Under the tutelage of Pastor Michael E. Dantley, Jordan developed an unwavering sense of spirituality and morality. He attended Cincinnati public schools and graduated from Woodward High School.
At an early age, Jordan demonstrated a strong work ethic and at just 14 years of age, while still a student at Woodward Hight School, he started his 18-year career with the Kroger Company – where he advanced from bagger to cashier to eventually front-end management. His customer service skills were par excellence. He was always accommodating and willing to resolve problems. Jordan’s customers and coworkers alike gravitated towards his mild laid-back nature and his warm and welcoming smile.
Never one to sit around, Jordan obtained his driver’s license and first car at only 15 years old. His passion for cars quickly turned into motorcycles; Jordan – became an avid biker and familiar face amongst the motorcycle community of Cincinnati. On any given day, you might see him cruising through community events or parks (Eden Park being his favorite), listening to music that crossed all genres and generations. He had an eclectic ear and soul.
A gentle giant, Jordan loved looking and smelling good – with Ralph Lauren Polo being his preferred clothing brand. He fiercely loved his family, especially his only child, Landen, who he made sure to instill the same positive morals and values that he possessed. He loved cooking good food. At some point in time, he became responsible for preparing every holiday meal.
Jordan enjoyed expanding his ever-growing gun collection. A firm believer in being peaceful, but demanding justice at any rate. Never one to drink or smoke, Jordan always remained a cool and level head. In a world where it’s so easy to follow the masses, he was always true to self and unapologetically Jordan, and it was always enough.
Jordan is preceded in death by his father, Terrance Kennedy. Jordan leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son, Landen Kennedy; mother, Alicia Sheafe; grandmother, Brenda Gray; siblings, Carmelita, Clarissa, Brianna, Amir, Sterling, and Ian. He also leaves to cherish his memory aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of other loved ones and friends.
