Johnnie Bush, Jr. was born on September 11, 1924 to
the late Johnnie Bush, Sr. and Bertha Parker in Uniontown,
Alabama. He was one of five children. He leaves behind
his brothers and sisters: Carrie McFadden, James Bush
(deceased), George Bush, Mary Kay Bush and Ronald
Bush.
Johnnie left Uniontown at a very early age, in
destination to Cincinnati, Ohio where he pursued a career
as a lightweight boxer. Johnnie picked up special skills
along his journey that enabled him to become a successful
businessman. He loved a variety of sports, traveling in his
motor home and spent much of his time creating and
developing his business. He was great at networking and
worked for many corporate and private business owners.
On May 17, 1955, Johnnie Bush, Jr. and Odeal Johnson
were united in matrimony. Odeal Bush was the love of his
life. ?Remember my husband and remember a great man,
Johnnie Bush, Jr. He dedicated his life to his family and was
a great provider.? Johnnie was the father of nine and
through their union together, they raised five children:
Elaine V. Browne, Jamal Bush (Yvette), Cynthia D. Riley
(Todd), Johnnie W. Bush (Cynthia), Felicia T. Bush,
Olevia Jackson, Sylvia Dykes (deceased), Darrell
Crenshaw and Anthony Richardson.
Johnnie was the loving grandfather of Kimberly Elliott,
Seth Dykes, Steven Dykes, Shawn Proctor, Todd Riley, Jr.
and Troy Riley, Ashley Browne, Chazity Bush and Johnnie
W. Bush, Jr.; seven great-grandchildren and three greatgreat-
grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all.
