

Joan White was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Jesephine Fletcher and Edward Collier. She was the second child od six children. Joan was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Auburn, Cincinnati, Ohio. She then found a home at Phillips CME Church also in Cincinnati, Ohio. Once she moved to Mississippi, she found a home at Second Baptist Church of Pontotoc, MS., where she served until her passing. She loved serving the Lord, her church, and her family.
Joan was called home May 19, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Debra Collier and Joan Campbell; one brother, Raymond Johnson; and her aunt, Lulu “Tilly” Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memories; four daughters, Pamela Wallace (Stacy Jones), Yolanda Fisher (Abel Potter), Angela Wallace, and Latonya White; two sisters, Darlene Ayers and Patricia Hill; three brothers, Henry Collier (Mary), Charles Collier, and Fred Collier; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, her bonus grandchild, Maddison Keith, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
